The Jackson Family Foundation is a charitable organization established by the Jackson family in 1988 to support humanitarian and educational causes. The foundation was founded by Joseph Jackson, Michael Jackson’s father, and is headed by family matriarch Katherine Jackson.

The Jackson Family Foundation’s mission is to provide resources and opportunities to youth and families in need, particularly in disadvantaged neighborhoods. It supports initiatives in education, health, culture, and the arts.

The foundation regularly holds fundraising events to support its programs. It notably hosted a gala evening in 2011 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Michael Jackson’s album “Thriller,” featuring numerous artists and celebrities.
